COBBLEVERSE 1.7.2 (CurseForge)

  • New Mega Evolutions:
    • Added all new Mega Evolutions from Pokémon Z-A, including the Mega Dimension DLC content.
    • Updated recipes for Mega Stones (LumyMon recipes removed; old stones can be easily converted putting them, one by one, in a Crafting Table).
  • Tera Pouches: Added specialized pouches to store your Tera Shards (holds 64 of each type, up to 1216 total).
  • CobbleMerchant Updates: Added the Trainer Card and Store Card (use the Store Card to locate the nearest Department Store)
  • Flying TMs are now available in the Department Store.
  • Mounts: Added brand-new rideable models for Koraidon and Miraidon; added many new rideable Pokémon (try riding Torterra in co-op!) and fixed issues with several existing rideable Pokémon.
  • Flight System Overhaul: Reintroduced Roll during flight for a more immersive first-person view and a non-fixed horizon. If you experience motion sickness, please check our Wiki guide to disable it. We would love to hear your feedback on this!
  • Increased Pasture loot drop rates per minute from 5% to 15%.
  • Added and rebalanced several loot drops.
  • Added a crafting recipe for the Dormant Crystal (required for Terapagos).
  • Backpacks: Right-clicking a backpack in the hotbar now opens it directly instead of auto-equipping.
  • Minimap: Press “X” once to toggle the enlarged map (no longer need to hold); enlarged mode now features 4x zoom for better scouting Pokémon.
  • New Battle GUI:
    • Real-time weather, terrain effects, and turn counters.
    • Integrated screen/field effects display.
    • Detailed move tooltips (Power, Accuracy, PP, and Effects).
    • Switch tooltips showing moves/abilities of Pokémon in your party.

    • Fully color-coded battle log.
    • Full keyboard and controller support (must be enabled in Battle Extras config).
    • You can now see the exact number of Pokémon remaining for both you and your opponent. The display now shows the specific Poké Ball type used for each Pokémon.
  • Shaders: Updated with significant aesthetic improvements to the Overworld and End skies, lighting, and colors. Added wind movement for grass/sugar cane, emissive effects for Enchanting Tables, and much more.
  • Corrected crafting recipes for Dry Hefty Sandwich, Spicy Five Alarm Sandwich and Spicy Ham Sandwich.
  • Added missing Shiny texture for Raging Bolt.
  • Fixed emissive textures for Evolution Stone Ores.
  • Fixed missing Minimap icons for most species.
  • Fixed evolution requirements for Meltan and Bisharp.
  • Fixed species data and size scaling for various Pokémon.
  • Fixed Groudon’s lava immunity.
  • Fixed Zygarde Core spawns (now found in Lush and Dripstone Caves).
  • Fixed Necrozma Dusk Mane incorrectly becoming Dawn Wings after transforming into Ultra Necrozma.
  • Resolved console log errors for Pyroar and Indeedee.
  • Improved spawn frequencies and corrected a few spawn pools.
  • Added missing translations for the PokéNav.
  • NPCs: Fixed missing or static textures for Trainer skins .
  • LumyREI: Fixed the clickable area position for the Campfire Pot recipe button in the REI overlay.
  • Fixed a critical issue where opening the Campfire Pot interface would cause a crash on the MMO Realms server.
  • Core Libraries: Balm, GeckoLib, Cobblemon: Tim Core, Radical Cobblemon Trainers API.
  • Cobblemon Add-ons: Cobblemon: Fight or Flight Reborn, Cobblemon: PlayerXP, LumyREI, Mega Showdown, Navas Z-A Megas.

  • Cobblemon Battle Extras: Massive overhaul for the battle interface and mechanics.
  • Smart Particles: Optimized particle management for better performance.
  • BadgeBox
  • Cobblemon UI Tweaks
  • Flamethrower Lag: Looking directly at a Pokémon using Flamethrower may cause extreme frame drops. This seems to be a known issue in base Cobblemon; we are awaiting a fix.
  • Action Required: The Badge Box mod is being officially removed in this update. If you have not yet moved your badges to the new CobbleverseBadges boxes (or at least removed them from the old ones), do so before updating.
  • Consequences: If you update without moving them, any badges inside the old boxes will be lost. The only way to recover them will be through Creative Mode or the /give command.
  • Resource Packs: After updating, launch the game, go to Options > Resource Packs, hold the “T” key for 3 seconds, then click Done. This ensures all assets are correctly loaded.
  • Disabled Mods: You will notice some mods are auto-installed as disabled. These are included solely to credit the original authors and support their downloads. Enabling these disabled mods will cause incompatibilities and errors.
  • Manual Updates: Please do not update mods or other content manually unless you are absolutely certain of what you are doing. Modpack components are carefully balanced, and individual updates can often break compatibility with the rest of the pack.
