COBBLEVERSE 1.7.3 (Modrinth)

This page outlines new features and changes planned for future COBBLEVERSE updates.

Please Note: The information below is intentionally kept a bit vague to preserve the sense of discovery. Everything listed is in active development or final testing, and as such, is subject to modification, delay, or removal without prior notice. Consider this a “sneak peek” rather than a final checklist.

Some characteristics will intentionally remain unlisted to preserve extra surprises, which will be detailed in the official changelog upon the update’s release.

We do our best to continuously improve the modpack with every release, greatly assisted by your feedback on our Discord server. Thank you for your support!

The struggle for the fate of the world begins now. Team Galactic has established multiple bases across the world, and only you can stop their plan to recreate the universe.
Powered by our custom LumyMon mod, we are introducing unique, immersive systems specifically designed for COBBLEVERSE to make searching for and summoning Legendary and Mythical Pokémon feel like a true adventure. Approximately 20 new structures are being added, most of them exclusive to COBBLEVERSE, alongside 3 new dimensions.

Team Galactic has established multiple bases across the world. Confront the Commanders in exclusive custom structures and use their stolen knowledge to uncover the path to the “Pokémon of Myth“.

  • Custom Galactic Structures:
    • The Wind Plant (Valley Windworks): A multi-level energy facility. Infiltrate the floors to find Commander Mars. Defeating her yields the Verity Proof, the only item capable of revealing the location of Mesprit.
    • The Eterna Building: A 5-story vertical high-tech facility filled with scientists and server rooms. Commander Jupiter guards the summit. Defeat her to obtain the Acuity Proof, required to locate Uxie‘s lake.
    • Team Galactic HQ: An immense fortress featuring four towers, dormitories, offices, museums, gyms and hidden secrets. Find Commander Saturn here to win the Valor Proof and use it to locate Azelf.
  • The Final Confrontation: Locate and battle Leader Cyrus. Only by defeating him can you seize the Red Chain before he uses it to subjugate the Pokémon of Myth.
  • Spear Pillar: Craft the Space-Time Radar to locate this ancient temple. Among the ancient ruins, two massive statues of Dialga and Palkia await the call of the Red Chain. By placing the Adamant Orb or Lustrous Orb (from Mega Showdown) into the Altar of Space-Time, the Red Chain will bind the energy of the statues, bringing them to life for an epic encounter.

Legendary Monuments: Thanks to our collaboration with JorgaoMC, COBBLEVERSE now features a special, exclusive version of the “Legendary Monuments” mod, with features specifically tweaked for our modpack.

  • Unique Lake Locations:
    • Lake Acuity (Glacial Chasm): Find Uxie‘s altar here. However, the legendary Pokémon of Knowledge is missing; instead, a Hisuian Zoroark has taken over its cavern. Defeat it to earn the Uxie Claw, which allows you to summon Uxie and obtain the Knowledge Jewel (required to reforge the Red Chain).
    • Lake Valor (Arid Highlands): A Hisuian Overqwil awaits you. Clear the cavern to obtain the Azelf Fang, allowing the legendary Pokémon Azelf to return and grant you the Willpower Jewel.
    • Lake Verity (Cherry Grove): Once Sinnoh is unlocked, you can find Mesprit’s home, currently occupied by a Hisuian Goodra. Defeat it to acquire the Mesprit Plume, bring Mesprit back and receive the Emotion Jewel.
  • Trial Mechanics: These lakes utilize a modified Trial Spawner system. Once the “invader” Pokémon is defeated and the trial is passed, the spawners deactivate. You must find a new lake or wait for a reset to try again.
  • Reforging the Chain: The Red Chain is a powerful but fragile artifact that breaks upon use. You must collect all three Jewels (Knowledge, Willpower, and Emotion) from the Lake Guardians to reforge a new Red Chain.
  • The Azure Flute: Crafted using celestial flutes from Dialga and Palkia, and Distortion materials. Playing it in the Overworld teleports you to the Origin Dimension (in the ancient Hisui era).
  • Personalized Instances: Every player is granted their own unique Temple of Sinnoh location. Playing the flute again within the dimension returns you exactly to your previous Overworld coordinates.
  • Ancient Legends: Meet and challenge Damon & Perula (Adaman & Irida) to obtain the Adamant Crystal and Lustrous Globe for Origin Forme transformations.
  • The Almighty Arceus: Place all 18 Arceus Plates on the temple pedestals to begin the ritual. Arceus will manifest in one of its many forms to face you. While the Plates are consumed in the ritual, the pedestals remain, allowing you to repeat the challenge whenever you find the plates again.
  • Turnback Cave: A massive underground labyrinth filled with Custom Trial Spawners that release waves of Ghost-type Pokémon.
  • The Gateway: Deep within the cave lies a dark portal to the Distortion World, a realm where gravity and reality are broken.
  • Survival & Navigation: Gather Raw Origin to craft a Giratina Radar and use the Distortion Cartography Table to locate Giratina’s Island (We highly recommend a flying mount).
  • The Shadow of Giratina: Find Giratina beneath a black glass dome. Features a 2% Shiny rate and a 5% chance to encounter it in its Origin Forme.
  • The Mariner’s Logbook: Found in Shipwrecks, this log tells the story of Elfio (Eldritch) and his son’s nightmare. Use it to find the route to Crescent Isle, the Sailor’s home island. Defeat him to prove your worth and earn the Member Card.
  • Cresselia’s Altar: Use the Member Card to reach this island. Search the island’s grand hotel for Dream Strings to craft a Dream Catcher and summon the Lunar Pokémon.
  • The Moonlight Amulet: Gifted by Cresselia, this allows you to enter the Nightmare Dimension by sleeping while holding it.
  • Newmoon Island: A corrupted, dark reflection of Fullmoon Island. Every time you enter the nightmare, a freshly generated island awaits. Every player is isolated in their own nightmare instance to ensure a unique experience.
  • The Nightmare Weaver: Collect Nightmare Strings to craft the Weaver and trap Darkrai. Defeating or catching it triggers a countdown to wake you up.
  • Emergency Wake-up: Use a Lunar Wing to instantly escape the nightmare at any time.
  • The Mountain: A massive, lava-filled labyrinth in the Nether Wastes.
  • The Quest: Battle Buck and Charon, one of the Team Galactic Commanders. You must recover the shards of the broken Magma Stone.
  • The Stark Forge: Use this specialized furnace to smelt the Magma Stone at maximum temperature using Nether lava. Only the reforged stone can summon Heatran at its altar near the summit.
  • Galar Particle Ores: These mysterious energy-infused ores now generate across the depths of the Overworld. Mine them to collect the essence of Galar.
  • The Eternatus Cocoon: Once you have gathered 500 Galar Particles, head to the End Dimension to locate the massive Eternatus Cocoon. Use the particles to trigger the hatching sequence and face Eternatus in a battle of legendary proportions!
  • Manaphy’s Sunken Ruins: Located in Deep Cold Oceans. Find the Manaphy Egg, which hatches into the Mythical Pokémon after 5 minutes in a player’s inventory. Breeding Manaphy with Ditto in a Pasture is now the only way to obtain Phione.
  • The Flower Paradise: A rare atoll in warm oceans where Shaymin can be summoned using Professor Oak’s Letter and the scent of Gracidea Flowers.
  • Regi Temples & Ores:
    • Split-Decision Temple: Choose between Regieleki or Regidrago. Warning: Activating one altar reduces the other to rubble!
    • Snowpoint Temple: Houses the petrified Regigigas. Bring all 5 Regi Relics to break the seal.
    • New Ores & Relics: Added Electron Ore and Dragon Ore. These are essential for obtaining the Spark Relic and Draco Relic, used to summon Regieleki and Regidrago respectively.
    • Ore Buffs: They now feature emissive textures, ambient sounds, and particles to help you find them. They have also received a significant boost to explosion resistance, now nearly matching the blast resistance of Ancient Debris.
    • Dragon Ore: Spawns within the Deep Dark biome (Y= -60 to Y=0).
    • Electron Ore: Generates within Desert biomes (Y=30 to Y=90).
    • Rock Ore: Updated texture and now generates within Dripstone Caves (Y=-40 to Y=40).
    • Steel Ore: Generation shifted to Badlands (including Eroded and Wooded variants) at Deepslate levels (Y=0 to Y=-60).
    • Ice Ore: Generation range adjusted (Y=65 to Y=125).
  • Treasures of Ruin: Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu now have their own dedicated structures. Explore the Nether to find 8 Sacred Stakes for each shrine to break the seals and face these Legendary Pokémon.
  • Pale Garden biome backported: Pale Oak trees naturally generate Resin (no Creaking required!). Also, Trevenant replaces the Creaking in this biome (1% Shiny rate) and drops Resin Clumps when defeated.
  • Happy Ghasts: Hydrating a Dried Ghast now transforms into a Gastly (3% Shiny chance).
  • Legends Z-A Mega Evolutions: Added all 45 new Mega Evolutions with high-quality animated models and Mega Stones, including Mega Darkrai, Mega Garchomp Z, and Mega Heatran.
  • Mega Stone Conversion: A temporary system is in place to convert your old LumyMon Mega Stones into the new Mega Showdown versions: simply place them in a crafting table. Don’t wait too long to switch!
  • Updated Models: Brand-new models for Koraidon and Miraidon, both rideable.
  • Rideable Pokémon: Many new rideable Pokémon are now available, including Honchkrow, Mantine, Appletun, Archaludon, Blacephalon, Gouging Fire, Hydrapple, Iron Crown, Naganadel, Raging Bolt, Scream Tail, Stakataka, and Yveltal.
  • Fresh Visuals: New models have been added for Meloetta, Escavalier, Hatenna, Hatterene, Tynamo, Eelektrik, Shaymin and Celebi (which is now shoulder-mountable).

  • Immersive Altars: All new summoning altars now feature unique ambient sounds and custom particle effects to enhance the ritual experience.
  • Tom’s Simple Storage added: Organize your base with ease! Includes remote inventory access via a hotkey.
  • Tera Pouches: Organize your Tera Shards with ease! These new pouches can store up to 64 shards of every type (up to 1216 shards in total).

  • Pasture Buff: The drop chance per minute has been increased from 5% to 15%.
  • Map Decorations: Custom icons have been added for almost all new structures, making them visible and recognizable on your maps.
  • Backpacks QoL: You can now right-click to open your backpack without automatically equipping it.
  • Item Renaming: “Heatstone” (Groudon) is now “Geostone” to avoid confusion with Heatran’s items.

  • Updated to Cobblemon 1.7.3!

And so much more! This update is too large to list every secret. We’ve poured our hearts into this; thank you for your patience!

  • Custom Radars added for the following Legendary Pokémon: Azelf, Mesprit, Uxie, Dialga and Palkia (Spear Pillar), Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Eternatus, Regieleki and Regidrago (Split-Decision Temple), Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu.
  • Legendary Seals: You can now find the Seals of the Treasures of Ruin within the loot tables of Bastions, Nether Fortresses, and RUINed Portals (obviously). Use them to craft specialized radars that point to their respective Shrines.
  • Progression Logic: Paldea’s Legendary Shrines (Nether) and Eternatus (End) are available from the start of your adventure (Kanto). However, Sinnoh’s Legendary/Mythical structures, along with Regieleki and Regidrago, will only begin generating after you have unlocked the Sinnoh region.
  • The Outskirt Stand: A lonely gasoline stand and diner found in Desert biomes. Inside, you’ll meet a unique merchant offering special items related to Zygarde.
  • Eternatus Cocoon: Now found within craters in the End Highlands and End Midlands.
  • Shrines of Ruin (Nether):
    • Firescourge Shrine (Chi-Yu): Located in the Nether Wastes.
    • Grasswither Shrine (Wo-Chien): Found in Warped Forests.
    • Groundblight Shrine (Ting-Lu): Located in Soul Sand Valleys.
    • Icerend Shrine (Chien-Pao): Found in Basalt Deltas.
  • The Distortion World: To enter, you must first find the Turnback Cave, hidden deep underground. Recovering Selina’s Notes will reveal the coordinates to aid your search. From there, step through the distorted portal.
  • Returning Home: To return to the Overworld from the Distortion World, look for portals scattered throughout the dimension. Alternatively, gather Raw Origin to craft a one-time-use Portable Distortion Portal.
  • Navigation Tools: Added custom items to help locate the following structures: Turnback Cave, Crescent Isle, Team Galactic Wind Plant, Team Galactic Eterna Building, and Team Galactic HQ.
  • Department Store Update:
    • The merchant no longer sells Mulch (applies to newly generated stores).
    • Added two new Music Discs (“Tears” and “Lava Chicken”), String, Milk Buckets, and Dyed Bundles.
    • Removed Aprijuice.
  • Lore Expansion: Added numerous custom books in new structures to provide lore, useful tips, and trivia. We look forward to your feedback on whether to expand or limit this feature!
  • Nether Map Fixes: Map decorations in the Nether are now correctly oriented instead of rotating randomly!
    • Restored the original Map Decoration for the Moltres Tower.
    • Blaine’s Gym now features a Fire Gym icon instead of a generic Red X.

  • Recipe Changes: Updated the recipes for TM Substitute and the Groudon Radar (now requires a Ground Gem instead of a Fire Gem).
  • Visual & Gameplay Fixes:
    • Increased the spawn rate of Regi Ores.
    • Fixed a graphical glitch under Campfire Pots that caused partial floor transparency.
  • Battle Positions: Intensive testing on the new Battle Positions system allows for more cinematic encounters. You can now define the exact placement of the player and Pokémon, for example, centering the fight in the middle of a Gym arena!
  • Bonus: Added two new 3D models for Ancient Legendary Statues
  • 1.21.6 Backport: Introduced all main features from Minecraft 1.21.2 through 1.21.6, backported to 1.21.1. Every new feature can be toggled via the configuration files to suit your preference.
  • Shaders Overhaul: Updated and meticulously tuned our custom shaders profile for a more captivating visual experience without sacrificing performance on low-end PCs. These are now officially named “COBBLEVERSE – Shaders”.
  • Introducing “COBBLEVERSE – Shaders (High Quality)”: A more performance-heavy version for those who want truly breathtaking lighting, shadows, and atmospheric effects.

  • Selina’s Journal: Added a new “book-shelvable” mechanic. To discover the secrets of the Turnback Cave, you must now infiltrate Team Galactic libraries and search their archives to piece together the path to Giratina.
  • Snowpoint Temple: A new party requirement has been implemented. You must now have all Regis in your party to awaken Regigigas.
  • Enhanced Loot System: We are transitioning from fixed chest contents to a fully dynamic Loot Table system. New structures now feature customized loot tables tailored to specific locations and situations, ensuring that every chest and barrel provides a unique and unpredictable reward.
  • Biome Generation: Fixed a critical bug where Mushroom Fields stopped generating after Terralith activation. They can now appear as part of the mainland too. General biome generation has also been tweaked for better flow.
  • Dialga & Palkia: Brand new 3D animated models for both Legendary Pokémon.
  • Origin & Primal Forms: Applied emissive textures to Origin Palkia and Origin Dialga.
  • Statue Work: Completed the monumental statues for Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia.
  • Mythical Companions: Celebi and Shaymin have received new models and are now shoulder-mountable.
  • Model Fixes: Corrected the neck geometry for the Boltund model.

  • Advancements: Added 30+ new advancements specifically tied to Sinnoh’s Legendary/Mythic Pokémon and Team Galactic.
  • Custom Dimensions: Beds now have custom behavior in the Origin and Nightmare dimensions.
  • Minimap Visibility: Overhauled icons to ensure every Pokémon is visible on the Minimap (community feedback requested if any are still missing!).
  • Mounts & Posers: Added a large variety of new mounts and improved several posers.
  • Trainer Cleanup: Removed various obsolete custom trainers from the RCT datapack.
  • Enhanced Summoning Rituals: Added custom environmental effects, sounds, and messages for specific Legendary/Mythical encounters.
  • Immersive Audio: Added custom music tracks for the Nightmare and Origin dimensions to heighten the atmosphere when facing Darkrai or Arceus.
  • New Animations for: Chikorita, Electivire, Fearow, Gengar, Haunter, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, and Typhlosion.
  • Polish: Updated the Advancement icons for Shiny Latias and Shiny Latios.
  • Compatibility: Reorganized several resource packs to optimize performance and ensure compatibility with new mounting systems.

  • New Biomes: Expanded the world with 3 brand-new biomes (in addition to the Pale Garden): Hot Shrubland, Cold Shrubland, and Wintry Lowlands.
  • Village Fixes: Removed all Campfire Pots with underlying Campfires from custom villages. This should resolve a critical “waterlogged campfire” crash that occurred during world generation.
  • New Music Disc: Added a new disc featuring a “Battle! Champion Cynthia” 8-bit remix by Zame
  • Immersive Background Tracks: Added 10+ new musical tracks by Pokéstir and Zame. 5 tracks have been added to the overworld’s random rotation, and 6 are exclusively dedicated to our new custom dimensions.
  • Main Menu & The End: Added 3 new tracks to the Main Menu and 2 new tracks to The End dimension (custom Distortion World music is coming in a future update).
  • Catch Rate Interface: Default Hotkey “<“. While holding a Poké Ball during combat, hold this key to display a real-time comparison UI. It shows the catch probability for every Ball type, to help you master capture mechanics (this feature can be disabled in the config).
  • Wireless Terminal Access: Default Hotkey “Y”: Instantly open your Tom’s Simple Storage Wireless Terminal. If you have the terminal equipped and a beacon near your storage system, you can now access your entire inventory across all dimensions.
  • Free-Look Flight: Holding Left Alt while flying allows you to move the mouse to look around freely without changing your flight direction.
  • Riding Perspective: Changed the default riding camera to First-Person (previously Third-Person) for a more immersive experience. It can be customized in the config.
  • Minimap Polish: Lowered the default Minimap position to prevent UI overlap during Double Battles. Additionally, Paintings, Item Frames, and Armor Stands are no longer displayed on the Minimap to reduce clutter.
  • REI Organization: Reorganized Roughly Enough Items (REI) collapsible categories for a cleaner search experience.
  • Fight or Flight Overhaul: Optimized configurations to balance wild Pokémon aggression and their reactions to failed catch attempts.
  • Hostile Pokémon: Certain Pokémon are now permanently hostile toward players, including all Regis, Heatran, Eternatus, Giratina, Darkrai, and Overqwil.
  • RCT Datapack: Reorganized the RCT datapack with an updated version and new data formatting for better performance.
  • Sell Your Food: All Minecraft and Cobblemon food items can now be sold to the CobbleMerchant via the “Bank” interface. Prices are currently in a beta-testing phase; we welcome your feedback for future balancing!
  • Exclusive Merchants: Many merchants have been customized, with some exclusive trades to specific structures, such as the Farmers Market.

  • Basic CobbleMerchant Inventory Clean-up: Removed Special Poké Balls, Ancient Balls, Max Potions, Full Restores, Max Revives, and Vitamins from the basic merchant.
    • Design Note: We want to encourage players to explore the world and visit large villages rather than relying solely on crafting a Display Case. Players now have more tools than ever to reach a Department Store: Store Cards to locate them; Waystones & Waypoints to fast-travel between discovered cities and key locations; and your flying Pokémon to traverse the world at high speeds.
  • Healing Item Rarity: Max Revives have been removed from all merchants, making them findable only through exploration (as in the original Pokémon games). Of course, Max Revives remain craftable by cooking 2 Revives + 1 Vivichoke in a Campfire Pot.
  • Experience & Rare Candy Rebalance: Removed Rare Candies and Exp. Candy XL from merchants.
    • Rare Candies must now be found via exploration.
    • Exp. Candy XL can be crafted by cooking 3 Exp. Candy L in a Campfire Pot.
  • Ancient Ball Pricing: Adjusted the price of Ancient Balls in Department Stores. Since they have a more complex crafting recipe, they no longer cost less than standard Poké Balls.
  • Status Item Note: Full Heals have been temporarily removed from most shops until the bug preventing them from correctly removing negative effects from your Pokémon during active battles is resolved.
  • Cinematic Gym Encounters: Implemented an automated positioning system for battles! When starting a fight in a Team Galactic structure, the player and the opponent’s Pokémon are automatically centered in the arena, with the player teleported to the opposite side.
    • Future Plans: If the community feedback is positive, we plan to expand this immersive system to all Gyms, Pokémon Leagues, and other key battle locations (such as the Sky Pillar or Team Rocket Tower).
  • Enhanced Battle UI: Added a comprehensive new interface providing:
    • Team Intelligence: View the opponent’s Pokémon count, team preview, and even the specific Poké Ball types used by both players.
    • Type Advantages: Real-time display of type weaknesses for both your Pokémon and the opponent’s, making it easier to choose the right counter.
    • Detailed Move Data: Access move effectiveness, full move summaries, and a turn counter.
    • Switch Menu Insights: Detailed breakdown of types and abilities directly within the switch menu.
    • Native Controller Support: Now available during battles (must be enabled via in-game configurations).
  • Aggressive Encounter Key: You can now press “G” to force-start a battle with an aggressive wild Pokémon even if you aren’t looking at it or if your Pokémon isn’t currently out. (Could be a lifesaver against Darkrai!).
  • Mount Balancing: Re-tuned the riding speed of various Pokémon based on community feedback (also, Togekiss is no longer faster than Legendaries!).
  • Lush Caves & Deep Dark: Pokémon in Lush Caves are now always peaceful, while those in the Deep Dark are almost exclusively aggressive.
  • Unique Summoning Methods: All Legendaries and Mythicals from Gens 1 through 4 now have unique structures or exclusive methods for being found/summoned.
  • Legendary Balancing: Disabled the use of Poké Snacks for spawning Legendaries/Mythicals to prevent “farming” low-level Legendaries. We want to preserve the prestige of these encounters. We encourage you to embark on the ultimate Pokémon journey: explore the world, uncover hidden structures, and face the legendary challenges as they were meant to be, as epic, unique milestones in your adventure!
  • Shiny Rates: Set a fixed 2% Shiny rate for these unique encounters, along with special “surprises” for lucky players.
  • Spawn Rate Rarity Overhaul: To make encounters feel more varied and rewarding, spawn probabilities have been adjusted:
    • Common: 94.3% → 79.8%
    • Uncommon: 5% → 17.5%
    • Rare: 0.5% → 2.4%
    • Ultra-Rare: 0.2% → 0.3%
  • Trainer Logic: Restricted certain Trainer groups from spawning in dimensions where they don’t belong (e.g., the Distortion World).
  • Spawn Pool Fixes: Fixed Original Color Magearna spawn and adjusted sea spawn pools to reduce the overwhelming amount of Tentacool. We’ve also implemented several other spawn refinements.
  • Falling Leaves: Backported the 1.21.5 Falling Leaves and combined them with the existing Particular mod for increased visual variety.
  • Healing Machine: Reduced the charge time for the Healing Machine from 600 to 300 seconds.
  • Pasture Max Distance: Reduced the wander distance from 64 to 48 blocks so Pokémon stay closer to their Pasture block.
  • UI & Options: Updated Default Options with the latest keybinds and optimized the Resource Pack load order.
    • Reminder: Hold “T” for 3 seconds in the Resource Pack menu after updating!
  • Pokédex Slideshow: Added new screenshots to the Main Menu slideshow.
    • Fun Fact: These screenshots are taken randomly during our daily development and testing sessions.
  • Fishing Buff: Slightly increased the chance to find Silver Bottle Caps while fishing. However, keep in mind that currently the best place to obtain Bottle Caps remains the Sinnoh League.

  • Special Forms & Effects: Added unique visual and sound effects when equipping the Rocket Armor on Mewtwo to transform it into Armored Mewtwo, and when using the Shadow Soul Stone on Lugia to turn it into Shadow Lugia. A short cooldown has been added for these transformations.
  • New Mega Evolutions: Added all new Mega Evolutions from Pokémon Z-A, including the Mega Dimension DLC content.
  • Mega Stone Conversion: Updated recipes for Mega Stones to match the official Mega Showdown standards. LumyMon recipes have been removed; however, players can easily convert old LumyMon Mega Stones by placing them individually in a Crafting Table.
  • Department Store Update: Flying TMs are now available for purchase in the Department Store.
  • Dormant Crystal: Added a crafting recipe for the Dormant Crystal (essential for Terapagos).
  • Decorative Expansion: Added 16 decorative sign blocks called Plaques (one for each Minecraft color) and added 3D decorative block models for numerous existing items, including Potions, Elixirs, X-Items, and various held items like Weakness Policy or Spell Tag.
  • Flight System Overhaul: Reintroduced Roll during flight for a more immersive first-person experience and a dynamic horizon. (If this causes motion sickness, please refer to the Wiki guide to disable it).
  • Minimap QoL: Press “X” once to toggle the enlarged map (no longer requires holding the key); the enlarged mode now features 4x zoom for more effective scouting of Pokémon and Shinies.
  • Distortion World: The Distortion Portal item can now be used to return directly to your spawnpoint from the Distortion World.
  • Azure Flute: it cannot be used while in combat.
  • Partner Mark: Party Pokémon now have a very small chance to earn the Partner Mark while walking, provided they have high friendship.
  • Real-time Combat Data: The interface now provides real-time information on weather, terrain effects, turn counters, and integrated field effects.
  • Move & Switch Tooltips: Detailed tooltips for moves (Power, Accuracy, PP, Effects) and a switch menu that displays moves and abilities of Pokémon in your party.
  • Visual Cues: Added ability activation pop-ups and Pokémon type icons for quick reference. The battle log is now fully color-coded.
  • Team Intelligence: You can see the exact number of Pokémon remaining for both sides and the specific Poké Ball type used for each Pokémon.
  • Strategic Aid: Real-time display of type weaknesses for both your and the opponent’s Pokémon.
  • Global Spawn Pool Overhaul: Entirely reorganized the spawn pools for all Pokémon in COBBLEVERSE. Now, 99% of spawns are managed by our custom COBBLEVERSE-DP, making it easier to monitor, correct, and balance. All pools have been updated to Cobblemon 1.7.3. Please report any inconsistencies!
    • Additionally, all “species_additions” have been merged into our main datapack to centralize all modifications regarding Pokémon stats, behaviors, and rideable settings. This consolidation ensures better performance and allows us to push fixes and balance changes more efficiently.
  • Technical Fixes: Fixed Zygarde Core spawns (now correctly found in Lush and Dripstone Caves) and resolved console log errors for Pyroar.

  • Batch Customization: Wallpaper options in the list view now apply to all boxes on the current page.
  • Smart Filtering: You can use the search/filter in the list view to identify boxes containing Pokémon that match your search.
  • Search Expansion: Increased the search/filter character limit from 19 to 100 characters.
  • LumyREI Update: Added compatibility for the Stark Forge and Rechiseled blocks. Players can now view all Chiseling variants by pressing the REI recipe key (default: R) over the item.
  • Trainer Skins: Fixed missing or static textures for Trainer skins. Deleted redundant duplicate skins and added animated skins for Team Galactic trainers.
  • Controller Support: Native controller support is now fully available during battles (must be enabled via Battle Extras configuration).

The Badge Box mod will be removed in this update. Please move your badges to the new CobbleverseBadges Badge Boxes or at least remove them from the old boxes before updating. If you don’t, you will need to use Creative Mode or commands to recover them.

Due to the massive scope of this update and the sheer volume of new content, our current translations are unfortunately incomplete or obsolete. If you would like to help us translate the mod into your language, we would be honored to include your contribution in future patches. We are deeply grateful to the community members who have already assisted us!

This update will be available on CurseForge once we have ensured there are no severe bugs following the Modrinth release. Our goal is to have the update live on CurseForge by the end of February. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Please note: This list is incomplete and subject to change. We are working hard to bring these features to all platforms as soon as they are ready. Please check back later for more updates!
